Monruedee Choonet

Founder & Bodywork Practitioner at Payayor Therapeutic

From a young age growing up in Thailand, I felt a deep pull toward helping others feel better in their bodies. I used to massage my grandparents after long days, simply wanting to ease their pain. That small act of care grew into a lifelong passion and a path of healing.

Massage has always been more than a profession to me — it’s a way to offer comfort, restore balance, and honor the body’s ability to heal. I’m certified in Thai, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Therapeutic massage, with additional training in techniques that help relieve physical tension from office work and everyday stress.

My approach is gentle, intuitive, and grounded in respect — always focused on creating a safe and restorative experience for every client.

Why “Payayor”?

Payayor is the Thai name for Clinacanthus nutans, a medicinal plant native to Thailand known for its soothing and restorative qualities. Traditionally used to treat inflammation, skin conditions, and bites, it reflects the kind of gentle, natural healing that inspires my work.

Choosing Payayor as the name of this practice is a way of honoring my Thai roots and the generations of wisdom that taught me healing comes from care, intention, and balance. It’s a symbol of the restorative, grounded approach I bring to every session.
