Q: What should I expect during my first appointment?
Each session begins with a brief consultation to understand your needs, goals, and areas of concern. You’ll also fill out a short intake form before your appointment. Your massage will be fully customized to what your body needs that day. Every massage is performed on a professional massage table, and clients are required to wear underwear at all times.
Q: What types of massage do you offer?
We specialize in therapeutic massage, designed to relieve chronic pain and improve mobility, and relaxation-based sessions for stress relief and nervous system support. Some sessions combine techniques from both, including Thai therapeutic work. You’ll choose your focus during booking.
Q: Do you accept same-day appointments?
No. All appointments must be scheduled in advance — we do not accept same-day bookings.
Q: Is a deposit required?
Yes. A $50 deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be applied toward your service total. It is refundable only with at least 24-hour notice.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows will forfeit the deposit and may be charged the full session fee.
Q: What if I arrive late?
Sessions may be shortened to respect the next scheduled client. Full payment is still required.
Q: Are gift certificates or package sessions refundable?
No. All gift certificates and packages are final sale. Expiration and usage policies apply.
Q: What kind of oil do you use?
We use premium grapeseed oil imported from Australia, which is excellent for sensitive skin. Please notify us of any allergies or sensitivities before your appointment.
Q: Can I book a massage for someone else?
Yes — just make sure the recipient receives and completes the intake form beforehand. We want to ensure their session is safe and supportive.
Q: Do I have to undress completely?
No. Your comfort comes first. Clients are required to wear underwear during the session. You’ll always be properly draped, and only the area being worked on will be exposed. Let us know if you have any preferences.
Q: Are massages safe during pregnancy?
We currently do not offer prenatal massage. Please check back in the future.
Q: Are there any age restrictions?
Clients must be 18 years or older. If younger, a parent or legal guardian must be present during the session and sign a consent form.
Q: What’s not allowed?
Any inappropriate conduct — including sexual comments or behavior — will result in immediate termination of the session without refund, and future bookings may be denied. We maintain a safe, respectful space for all clients.
Q: Where can I find parking?
Free 3-hour parking is available just half a block away at 310 Duncan Street. Metered street parking is also available nearby. We’re a short 0.7-mile walk from the Walnut Creek BART station.
Q: Is your studio wheelchair accessible?
Our studio is located on the second floor of a building with stair-only access. Unfortunately, there is no elevator available, so we’re not able to accommodate wheelchair accessibility at this time. We sincerely apologize for this limitation.
Q: Are massages safe during pregnancy?
Yes—during the first trimester. We offer gentle, pregnancy-aware sessions up to 12 weeks. Please let us know you’re expecting so we can tailor positioning and pressure. Note: we don’t book prenatal sessions past 12 weeks.
